Where can I travel from?

  • We have partners across the country and can take you wherever you want. If there is no partner available at your departure location, we will do everything we can to find a suitable bus company within two working days.

Can I book multiple buses?

  • Yes! Simply select as many buses as needed in the search results.

Why do one need to have a user account?

  • By having an account, you can monitor your booking, make minor changes without contacting us or the operator, create quote requests and respond to quotes, book and pay directly through your account.

What is the difference between a business account and a contract customer?

  • If you have a business account, you can only pay by credit card, or invoice through Klarna check out. Some companies and organisations only accept e-invoices. To receive an e-invoice for your booking, you must apply to become a contract customer.

How do one become a contract customer?

  • o become a contract customer, one must first have a business account registered. Then you make a request to become a contract customer by sending an email to info.bus@bookabus.com. Enter “Application contract customer” in “the subject”, then enter the company name, billing address, organization (VAT) number, as well as name, email and phone number of your contact person. We review and respond to your application as soon as we can!

When and how do one pay?

  • Payment is made directly at the time of booking. As a private customer, you can choose to pay by card (Visa or Mastercard) or via Klarna check out and choose one of the payment options that suit you best (invoice 30 days or partial payment). If you choose to pay by invoice via Klarna, you will receive an invoice from their business partner “Billie”. If you are a company and wish to pay by e-invoice, you can do so by becoming a “contract customer” when you create your user account. Note! the information above applies to Swedish/Nordic ?? customers!!

We are a customer out of Sweden/Nordics, how can we pay?

  • As a foreign customer (private or business) only credit card (Visa or Mastercard) payment is possible. Some payments can be made through invoice directly bookabus.com. In that case contact bookabus.com (info.bus@bookabus.com) for further information.

Can I cancel or change my trip?

  • Yes, up to 48 hours before departure. Log in to your account, and under “My bookings,” you can easily find the current booking and cancel with one click. Any refunds will be processed via Klarna within five business days. Learn more about our cancellation policy.

What equipment is available on the bus?

  • When booking a trip, you can filter for the amenities you wish the bus to have. Examples include WiFi, AC, power outlets, and a toilet. More information about already booked buses can be found under “My bookings” in your account.

Why do prices vary?

  • Each bus company sets its own prices, which is why they vary. The comfort of the bus, the onboard amenities, and the distance you are traveling also affect the price.

Can I book a trip that takes two or more days?

  • Absolutely! However, longer trips require a more detailed price calculation. You will receive a quote via email within three business days.

Can we eat and drink food and/or alcohol on board?

  • VWhat is allowed to be consumed on board is up to each bus company. Send an email to info.bus@bookabus.com, and we will follow up on the matter.
    If you want to order catering onboard, you can note that in the “Other requests” field when booking.

Can we add stops or change the route along the way?

  • Yes, you can add a stop when booking. You can also modify the booking afterward by logging in to your account and going to “My bookings.” We must always consider the regulations governing driving and rest times. Agree with the driver during the trip. Please be aware that any changes to the route may incur additional costs.

How much luggage can I bring?

  • n general, you can bring one or two suitcases per person. If you will be bringing more luggage or other equipment, it should be noted in the “Other requests” field when booking. It’s important to clarify this during the booking process since the bus’s luggage space may be limited. According to safety regulations, carry-on luggage must not exceed the dimensions 40x30x20 centimeters.

What are the rules for traveling with children on a bus?

  • Children can sit on an adult’s lap during the journey, but all passengers must have access to their own seat. There is no law regulating this, but we recommend that children under six years old sit on a booster seat. Bus companies often have a few booster seats available, but they can’t guarantee there will be enough for everyone. We recommend bringing your own car seat or booster seat to be safe.

Are tolls, bridge fees, and VAT included in the price?

  • Yes, all costs are included in the price.

Can we rent a bus without a driver?

  • No, this is not possible.
